Riverfront Lodging

Comfortable stay more or less near Crater Lake, which was still almost an hour and a half drive (not 45 minutes as we were told), but a much better option for a family than some of the tiny rooms and cabins nearer to the National Park. We had two different reservations for three nights, the renovated room was very modern, as good as any modern, city hotel. Much better than the older, unrenovated room, which actually had two bedrooms, felt more like a cabin in the woods, but was just a little too dated. The manager was wonderful, very helpful with the rooms, providing information about the area and restaurants, and just generally someone nice to talk to and generous with her time.

Pretty much everything. The woman at the desk was very nice, the property is beautiful and well maintained. They have a deck on the river that you can enjoy. The room was spacious, tidy and comfortable. The pillows were great and the bed was comfortable. The room looked remodeled and well maintained. There was a separate bedroom for my daughter which was great for privacy.

Great view of the river with a nice patio with chairs. Small refrigerator with freezer area was a nice size. It was nice to have the parking area right in front of the unit. There were very good instruction for the heating/ cooling system.

This is a quaint motel/lodge right on the Rogue River. We loved the deck overlooking the water and the pretty flowers everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great outdoor seating, unfortunately it was raining most of the time we were there. Very convenient to a few restaurants.

The location is great - near the Rogue River, very relaxing. 1 hour to Crater Lake, which was my destination next day. The staff were so nice and friendly, as well as housekeepers. I love the grounds, I walked around a bit and took advantage of the deck overlooking the river. Very peaceful there! Also nice walking distance to Mac's Diner, which is a fun place.
